Florida State closes out regular season with affordable tickets in Tallahassee

Florida State is struggling towards the finish line of their season as the competition stiffens up.

After winning two games against Georgia Tech and Boston College on February 14th and 18th, the Seminoles have lost three straight to Virginia, Miami and Louisville. Florida State played admirably against Virginia, only losing by 10, and also was competitive against Miami, losing by four. But on their last game on February 28th against the Cardinals, Florida State was throttled by 21 points.

Florida State is 11th place out of the 15-team ACC. They have a .500 overall record (15-15) and are 7-10 in the conference. With one game remaining, they can move up at least two spots depending on the result of Clemson’s game.

Their final game on March 7th is against the Pittsburgh Panthers at the Donald L. Tucker Center at Tallahassee Leon County Civic Center. Normally this final home game would be a celebration of Senior Night, but the Seminoles have no seniors on the roster. According to TiqIQ.com, the average ticket price is $27 with a walk-in price of $14. There are fewer than 50 Florida State vs. Pittsburgh tickets remaining.

Pittsburgh is 8-9 in the conference and would be tied with Florida State with a loss. Florida State’s season is unlikely to be over if they lose in the ACC tournament, as they are in shape to receive a bid to the NIT.
