Two Seminoles Honored by ACC
Junior wide receiver Travis Rudolph and freshman running back Jacques Patrick each earned weekly honors from the ACC for their performances in Saturday’s 45-21 win over Syracuse. Rudolph was named ACC Receiver of the Week and Patrick was named ACC Rookie of the Week.

Rudolph caught five passes for 191 yards and three touchdowns in Saturday’s victory while Patrick rushed for 162 yards and three scores on 24 carries in his first career start. Saturday marked the first time in FSU history that a player rushed for three touchdowns and another caught three touchdowns in the same game.

FSU-N.C. State 6-Day Optioned
The ACC announced a 6-day option Monday for Florida State’s November 14th contest against N.C. State at Doak Campbell Stadium. That means the start time for the game will be announced by noon eastern time on Sunday.

FSU Basketball Receives 18 Votes in AP Preseason Poll
Florida State received 18 votes in the AP’s preseason men’s basketball poll released Monday. Four ACC teams were ranked, led by No. 1 North Carolina. Eight of the top-35 schools receiving votes were from the conference.
