Seminoles Climb in Baseball Polls

Thanks to a 9-game winning streak, Florida State has again risen in the new college baseball polls. Florida State is 13-3 and 3-0 in conference play after just a 4-3 start.

The Seminoles made their biggest jump this week in the Collegiate Baseball poll, moving up 11 slots from 22nd to 11th. FSU moved up five spots in the NCBWA poll, coming in at No. 17 this week.

After being unranked a week ago, the Seminoles are back in the D1Baseball.com poll at No. 21. The movement for Florida State in the USA Today Coaches and Baseball America polls were minimal. In the coaches poll, the Seminoles moved up just a spot from 19th to 18th. FSU jumped from 21st to 18th in the Baseball America poll.

The Seminoles will have a chance to make some more noise this week with a big 2-game set against UCF in Tallahassee. The Knights are ranked in the top 10 in four of the five polls, peaking at sixth in the Baseball America poll.
