This week, we asked our readers to give their score predictions for Saturday’s contest between Florida State and No. 1 Clemson.
From the Staff
Clemson needs no introduction. The Tigers are the best team in the country and have no real weaknesses.
The X-factor for this game is Florida State running back Dalvin Cook. He’s a threat to score every time he touches the ball and if he can play, he should have the opportunities to change the scoreboard.
If FSU wants to win this game, it will have to play almost perfect football. A complete “A” game. Unfortunately up to this point, FSU hasn’t done so for more than a half at most in any one game. The Seminoles must protect the football and create at least two turnovers on defense. FSU is still more talented overall than Clemson but the youth may be too much to overcome. I’m taking the Tigers, 27-17.
