FSU Football Player of the Week: Terrance Smith

While sophomore quarterback Jameis Winston was near flawless in the second half and freshman linebacker Jacob Pugh recorded the first two interceptions of his career in Saturday’s 31-27 win over Notre Dame, the Florida State Football Player of the Week for Week 8 goes to a guy who did a little bit of everything.

Redshirt junior linebacker Terrance Smith was a man on a mission Saturday night as Smith recorded a game-high 11 total tackles. The most veteran of the FSU linebackers, Smith also finished with two tackles for loss, a sack, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.

Despite missing a game, Smith leads Florida State with 61 total tackles and two forced fumbles on the season. Smith and the Seminoles will have 11 days to prepare for Louisville on October 30th.
