FSU Football Player of the Week: Karlos Williams

Top-ranked Florida State fell behind by 17 early against N.C. State on Saturday, but didn’t abandon the running game. For that, the Seminoles were able to rally for a 56-41 victory and senior running back Karlos Williams was able to have a career-day.

Karlos Williams earns Florida State Football Player of the Week for Week 5 after finishing with a career-high 126 yards rushing on 21 carries. Williams also notched a new career-high with three rushing touchdowns including two in the final quarter to help put the Wolfpack away.

Williams’ career-day comes one week after scoring the game-winning touchdown in overtime to beat Clemson. After a slow start, Williams now has over 300 yards rushing for the season and a realistic chance at hitting the 1,000-yard mark. Williams is also on pace for 15 rushing touchdowns during the regular season.
