4-Star Tight End Commits to FSU

Philadelphia product and 4-star tight end Naseir Upshur made his commitment Tuesday, choosing Florida State over Michigan.

Upshur made his commitment with a video exclusive to Bleacher Report. At 6’2″ and 235 pounds, Upshur is very athletic for a tight end and should be able to contribute right away.

The commitment of Upshur, who plays at Imhotep Institute, serves as a big shot in the arm to the Seminoles after 5-star tight end Isaac Nauta decomitted from FSU in late July.

Upshur’s decision gives FSU 18 players committed for 2016, which now includes 10 4-star prospects and a pair of 5-stars.
