Seminoles Up Two Spots in Coaches Poll

After a 2-2 week that concluded with Florida State dropping a heartbreaker in the rubber game of a 3-game series at Louisville, the Seminoles moved up in two polls, dropped in two others and remained firm in another.

The D1Baseball.com Poll was the only poll where FSU didn’t move as it held firm at No. 8. The Seminoles fell one spot in both the Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball polls. Florida State fell from seventh to eighth in the Collegiate Baseball Poll and from eighth to ninth in the Baseball America Poll.

Florida State climbed from 10th in both the NCBWA and USA Today Coaches polls. FSU sits at No. 9 in the NCBWA Poll, but made its biggest move this week in the Coaches Poll, going up two spots to No. 8.

Florida State will close the regular season at home with a 3-game series against Clemson beginning Thursday.
